Sono vs. Synthflow
Synthflow is a no-code platform for building your own AI voice agents; Sono is a done-for-you AI phone assistant where the vendor builds, integrates, and maintains the agent for you. Choose Synthflow if you want to construct and own the agent yourself — choose Sono if you want your phone answered without becoming an AI builder.

What Synthflow does well
Synthflow is one of the most complete no-code voice agent builders. If you're an agency reselling voice AI, or an operations team that wants full control over conversation flows, its visual editor, white-label options, and per-minute pricing are genuinely strong. You can prototype an agent in an afternoon and iterate freely.
Where Sono differs
Sono starts from the opposite premise: a repair shop, property manager, or clinic shouldn't need to design conversation flows at all. You forward your existing number, and Sono's team builds the agent, connects your calendar and CRM, and keeps tuning it based on real transcripts. The trade-off is less hands-on control — the benefit is that missed calls stop being your problem from week one, with no one on your team owning "the AI project".
How to choose
- Choose Synthflow if you have someone who will own agent-building — an agency, a technical founder, an ops lead who enjoys tooling.
- Choose Sono if you run a service business and the goal is simply that every call gets answered, booked, and logged — in your customers' language, without a build phase.
