Sono raises $1.5M so no one waits on hold again
Sono has closed a $1.5M pre-seed round led by Maki.vc, with Wave Ventures and Failup Ventures, and joined Founders House Helsinki — fuelling voice AI agents that answer every call as we scale across the Nordics and Europe.

Why we're building Sono
The phone is still a critical channel for customer service — yet in many organisations a large share of calls go unanswered at peak times. That weakens the customer experience and turns into lost revenue.
Sono makes it possible to automate more complex customer conversations end-to-end — in a way that wasn't technically possible just a year ago. Our platform combines speech recognition, large language models, and companies' existing backend systems into a single layer that can handle a customer-service process from start to finish.
